Acceptable Use Policy

Please do

• Browse, buy, and share links to anything here.
• Sell finished items you made from our patterns. We buy handmade too — go for it.
• Use our product photos to review or recommend us, with credit and a link back.

Please don’t

• Copy, resell, share or republish our patterns, in whole or in part, or pass them off as your own. A pattern is bought for one person’s use.
• Reuse our photographs or written descriptions in your own shop listings.
• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download this site, or try to overwhelm it with automated traffic.
• Attempt to reach parts of the site that aren’t public, get around security, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
• Place fraudulent orders, or use payment details that aren’t yours.
• Send us abusive or threatening messages. We’re two people, and one of us is a teenager.

Download links

Pattern download links are personal to your order and expire after a short time. Sharing one is sharing the pattern, which isn’t allowed — but if yours has expired, opening the confirmation page from your receipt gives you a fresh one at no cost.

If something goes wrong

Where we can, we’d rather ask than act: most problems are a misunderstanding. But we may cancel an order, refuse service, or take down infringing material where this policy is clearly being broken, and we’ll pursue serious or repeated copying of our patterns.

Reporting a problem

If you spot our patterns or photos being used somewhere they shouldn’t be — or a security issue with this site — please tell us at hmfs-orders@hmfantasticstitches.com. We’d genuinely rather hear it from you.

This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service.
